Portfolio Website

My personal portfolio built with performance and accessibility in mind. Open source and pixel-perfect.

Portfolio Website

After countless iterations over the years, I finally feel like I got this one right. Building a portfolio is harder than it looks, you're trying to showcase your work without overdoing it.

The Challenge

The hardest part wasn't the code. It was coming up with content that actually means something instead of just filling space. I'll be honest, I still think this portfolio suffers a bit from that. It's tough to strike the right balance.

But I tried my best. I'm not a UI/UX designer, so I spent time browsing sites like Dribbble and pafolios.com for inspiration, then built everything from scratch. Pixel-perfect was the goal, even if I don't have a designer's eye.

What I Focused On

Performance & Accessibility
I wanted this portfolio to be fast and accessible to everyone. 100% Lighthouse score across the board, performance, accessibility, best practices, SEO. Image optimization, proper semantic HTML, all the things that make a site feel professional.

Open Source
This portfolio is open source. My work wouldn't exist without open source tools and communities, so this is my small way of giving back. Even if it just helps one person, it's worth it.
